History of Drive Highland

Set up in 2016, Drive Highland is the combination of three top-rated driving instructors in Inverness. Morrison Hamilton initially set up his own Driving School in 2010, and having established an excellent reputation as a high-quality driving instructor in Inverness, he went on to form Drive Highland in 2016 alongside Michael Anderson and Geoff Brown.

Our Aim

Our aim is to help you towards passing your test but, more importantly, to teach you the skills required to make you a safe and confident driver for life. We hold ourselves to a very high standard when it comes to reliability, punctuality and vehicle appearance. By structuring our lesson plans, our tuition is clear and comprehensive. Every person is different, which we take into account when planning lessons. We believe that learning to drive can, and should, be a positive, enjoyable experience.

Morrison is an amazing instructor who gave all the support and encouragement I needed to pass first time and feel confident in my driving going forwards. Across the lessons he was patient and knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had in a clear and informative manner. I always felt comfortable asking for clarifications whenever I was unsure of something during the drive and he was always calm, encouraging and ready to assist whenever I made mistakes. Learning from Morrison has been a very rewarding experience and I am so grateful for all of the help he has given me over the past few months. I would highly reccommend- and thank you!

Came back to resume driving after 6 years and started again with Morrison, he was a calm and knowledgeable teacher that improved my confidence and driving ability quickly. After a few months of lessons I was able pass first time with Morrison and therefore, I would absolutely recommend his driving school.

Definitely recommend Morrison, he was such a good instructor and was always so patient. He made me feel really confident before my test which I passed first time thanks to Morrison. The Car

The training vehicle we will be using is a FORD FIESTA Titanium fitted with air conditioning and other special features to make for a very comfortable drive.  Voted 5 stars in ‘What Car’ magazine and other Driving publications.
